About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at Consunet Pty Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of technical solutions and guide their implementation to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with clients, external organizations, and internal engineering disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
- Identify and remove technical roadblocks across the organization to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide input on coding and design best practices.
- Lead and drive internal projects to improve technical methodologies, contributing to the enhancement of our engineering discipline.
- Ensure engineering teams have the necessary tools and software to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge in software engineering with extensive experience working with cross-functional teams in designing and delivering end-to-end software.
- Demonstrated ability to guide the implementation of technical solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of coding and design best practices.
- Proven experience planning and facilitating workshops.
- Understanding of engineering tools and software.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or similar).
- Broad understanding of technologies in the developer ecosystem, including IDEs, developer frameworks, and multiple language stacks.
- Good understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment.
- Understanding of DevOps philosophy, practices, tools, and ways of securing DevOps processes (e.g., DevSecOps or Rugged DevOps).
- Proficiency in automation tools, infrastructure-as-code, and configuration-as-code.
- Knowledge of databases, containers, container orchestration, and container hardening.
