Job Title: Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant - SEN Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Behaviour Disorders, providing individualized support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Behaviour Disorders
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour, including those with Autism and other learning disabilities
  • Act as a positive role model, encouraging pupils to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills

Requirements:

  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Behaviour Disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Graduate or experienced teaching assistant preferred
