Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Zapp is a leading digital-first, premium convenience retailer, and we are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, aligning with our overall objectives and customer demands.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely and in-full delivery of products, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Utilize data analysis and market insights to inform demand forecasting and replenishment strategies for Non-Perishable items.
  • Implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet our quality criteria.
  • Implement measures to minimize product waste and shrinkage, monitoring expiration dates and handling damaged products efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing/Merchandising team to plan promotions, seasonal offerings, and special campaigns for the Non-Perishable category.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and health regulations governing the handling and storage of Non-Perishable goods.
  • Utilize supply chain analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies within the Non-Perishable category supply chain.
  • Develop contingency plans to address supply chain disruptions caused by unforeseen events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4-5 years) in supply chain management, preferably in a retail environment, with a focus on Non-Perishable categories.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain dynamics, including vendor management and quality control processes.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, adept at using data to inform decisions and optimize supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software and technology is a plus.
