Customer Relations Technical Specialist

Stride Resource Management Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Handler to join their Customer Relations team. This role involves handling complex insurance complaints, working with various business areas to resolve issues efficiently, and developing expertise in complaint resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex insurance complaints, prioritizing tasks to meet regulatory timescales and achieve fair outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand complaint nature and resolve issues effectively, while developing knowledge and expertise.
- Liaise with the Financial Ombudsman Service, confidently challenging their views when evidence supports it, and sharing key learnings with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify root causes and complaint trends to drive superb service across the business, working with relevant areas and senior stakeholders to implement necessary changes.
- Act as a technical referral point, providing guidance to the Customer Relations team and other business areas.
Requirements:
- A confident, driven individual with excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations, determining what is right, and standing by decisions.
- Ability to challenge current processes and operations through influencing and negotiating skills.
- Previous experience in a similar technical complaints role or within the insurance sector.
