About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Audiologist, you will play a key role in providing diagnostic and rehabilitative services to adult and paediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide audiology cover to ENT outpatient clinics, including masked air and bone conduction audiometry, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and otoacoustic emission testing.
  • Participate in the provision of a comprehensive diagnostic audiology service, including performance analysis, interpretation, and reporting of routine and complex test procedures.
  • Arrange hearing aids for ENT outpatient patients as required, including initial assessment, consent, preliminary counselling, and information/test data entry into our patient management system.
  • Manage routine and complex patient pathways, including assessment, history taking, and tailored patient care.
Requirements
  • BSc or equivalent in Audiology
  • Registration with the professional UK body
  • Substantial experience in a health organization
  • Evidence of management of complex audiological rehabilitation
