About Us & The Role

The Exhibition Centre Liverpool is part of a vibrant waterfront event campus, encompassing a range of venues and services.

We play a pivotal role in promoting Liverpool, having successfully hosted numerous national and international events. We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to enhance our established procurement operations.

Reporting directly to the COO, this position is ideal for a procurement expert with a background in public sector procurement. The role involves overseeing all procurement activities, managing tender processes, and collaborating with management to procure goods and services that align with our social value and procurement objectives. You will also lead initiatives to continuously improve our procurement function.

With the upcoming Procurement Act 2023 and new public sector regulations, this role presents a unique opportunity to shape our procurement strategy and policies, ensuring we leverage the benefits of the new legislation for efficient service delivery.

The ideal candidate will hold a CIPS qualification or be working towards it, with substantial experience in leading tender processes and providing procurement advice in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR2015).
