ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Community Supervisor within our Residential Care Facilities at Barchester Healthcare, your role will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will ensure that our residents receive the personalized care and support they deserve, while promoting their independence, dignity, and choices. In this capacity, you will lead and mentor a dedicated team of Caregivers and Senior Caregivers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations within the care home, ensuring high standards of care.
- Perform clinical tasks such as monitoring vital signs and managing basic wound care.
- Serve as a trusted role model for your team, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for residents and their families.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships both within the home and with external partners.
ABOUT YOU
To qualify for the Community Supervisor position, you should possess significant experience in senior care roles. Your background should include supervising staff and a solid understanding of clinical care for the elderly. A Level 3 NVQ or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is essential, along with a commitment to pursue the assessor qualification. Your enthusiasm, integrity, and excellent communication skills will enable you to inspire confidence in others. Above all, you will share our dedication to fostering a vibrant and supportive culture that prioritizes the needs of our residents and their families.
