Senior Countermeasure Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Countermeasure Development Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare Support Group (EWOS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our in-house countermeasure simulation software tool, CounterWorX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CounterWorX, a cutting-edge countermeasure simulation software tool.
  • Model physical interactions and phenomena across dynamic simulations.
  • Collaborate with our software development team to ensure seamless integration and deployment of releasable software products.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers on countermeasure development, engineering support, and delivery.
  • Support internal initiatives related to innovation, research, projects, training, and bid delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Physics/Mathematical principles at degree-level.
  • Experience with at least one of Electro-Optics (EO), Infra-Red (IR), or Radio Frequency (RF) sensors and systems within a defence setting.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Simulink, or Python.
  • Experience in model development, simulation requirements, configuration, and analysis reports.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
