Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of the Technical Services Team at Connect Group, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions. This role is designed for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who possesses a deep understanding of both cloud and on-premise technologies.

Location:
This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to client locations as required.

Compensation:
Competitive salary up to £48,000 per annum, complemented by bonuses and an attractive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the deployment and customization of cloud solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Assist in the sales process by aligning hospitality products with customer requirements.
  • Manage change requests for existing cloud infrastructure effectively.
  • Provide advanced support for managed services, projects, and field engineering teams.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and facilitate internal training sessions.
  • Foster and maintain key partnerships with IT systems, focusing on automation where feasible.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Provide consultancy services and ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Significant experience in cloud and on-premise technologies.
  • Profound knowledge of wireless systems and network architecture.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a 3rd Line support role with a robust technical foundation.
  • Exceptional presentation and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A demonstrated commitment to integrity, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
  • Enthusiasm for process improvement and collaboration across teams.
