About the Role

Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a well-established and successful manufacturing group to recruit a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner based in their office. A progressive role offering career development where you will take responsibility for working directly with operational management providing daily/weekly/monthly performance analysis on key business metrics.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Business partnering with the operational team to drive/support bottom line improvements
  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
  • Acting as a financial advisor, offering general financial support to commercial decision makers
  • Ownership of operational budgets and implementation of weekly/monthly reporting to the business on KPI's, with emphasis on cost per unit metrics
  • Preparing month-end variance analysis, undertaking project-based work for specific strategies/business initiatives, and being involved in internal/external audit
  • Ad-hoc duties and financial analysis, as well as deputising for the Finance Manager when required

Requirements

To be considered for this progressive Finance Business Partner role, you will be part qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience with business partnering experience. Strong MS Excel skills, effective communication skills to partner at all levels both internally/externally and with non-financial management, with the capacity to influence others. You will be accurate and numerate, willing to learn, and keen to develop further in your accounting career. Experience with SAP and within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous but not essential.

What We Offer

This permanent Finance Business Partner role is offering a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience, based in Gloucestershire.
