This role promises substantial exposure to both large and small clients, all within a supportive and relaxed setting.
As an Accounts & Audit Associate, your duties will include:
- Preparation of financial statements and corporate tax submissions.
- Preparation of accounts for sole proprietors, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Assisting in the formulation of the audit strategy to ensure it meets audit objectives.
- Actively participating in audit planning and discussions to identify potential risks and appropriate audit strategies.
- Overseeing all phases of audit fieldwork and completion.
- Ensuring that planned audit tasks are executed effectively to meet audit goals.
You will gain experience with a variety of clients, including both small enterprises and not-for-profit organizations.
The successful Accounts & Audit Associate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accountancy practice, focusing on accounts preparation and audit assistance, particularly in fieldwork.
- AAT qualified or currently pursuing ACCA/ACA qualifications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in direct client interactions.
- A collaborative team player willing to support colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £45,000, based on experience and qualifications.
