Job Title: Head of Compliance

Michael Page Property & Construction is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to join our team. As a senior leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance function across our affordable housing, high-rise apartments, and care homes in Greater Manchester.

About the Role:
  • Lead the compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on compliance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Management: Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance-related risks to ensure business continuity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to colleagues on compliance-related matters.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Relevant safety and compliance experience within the housing sector.
  • Relevant safety or compliance qualifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, P405 Asbestos, P901 Legionella.
  • Thorough understanding of Fire Safety and Building Safety.
  • Currently or previously operating in residential safety.
  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
