Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Compliance Director to lead our Building Safety team and drive compliance across our residential schemes in Greater Manchester. As a senior leadership role, you will be responsible for managing key compliance areas, including Mechanical and Electrical (M&E), and overseeing the Building Safety team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Building Safety team and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers and certifications to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with landlord regulations.
  • Manage fire safety and fire risk assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with asbestos and legionella regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with CDM regulations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant safety and compliance experience within the housing sector.
  • Relevant safety or compliance qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, P405 Asbestos, P901 Legionella.
  • Thorough understanding of Fire Safety and Building Safety regulations.
  • Currently or previously operating in residential safety.
  • Thorough understanding of the social housing sector compliance regulations.
