Assistant Store Manager

Role Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager at FatFace, you will play a key role in driving sales, managing costs, and delivering our brand through the visual proposition. You will support the Store Manager in commercially managing the store to maximise profitability through the retail plan, while creating a fun and inspiring atmosphere in line with our brand and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and demonstrate exceptional standards of behaviour to maintain the integrity of the brand.
- Drive and role model customer service standards to exceed customer expectations.
- Train, coach, and develop the team, supporting the completion of appraisals and performance reviews.
- Proactively analyse financial data, retail strategy, and local knowledge to maximise sales opportunities and support commercial decisions.
- Ensure the store is working to budget through effective scheduling, cost controls, and crew productivity.
- Implement the retail plan using effective planning and organisational skills.
- Communicate and liaise with Head Office to influence and maximise the stock package.
- Adhere to procedures in a professional manner, including cash and stock, health and safety, office, security of premises, key holders, and loss prevention.
- Oversee and execute the FatFace visual proposition to company standards.
- Abide by all FatFace policies and procedures, and comply with legal obligations, including safety requirements.
- Ensure GDPR procedures are adhered to at all times to maintain confidentiality.
