Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator - Energy Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and ensuring the efficient production of our energy systems.
Key Responsibilities- Operating Machinery: Safely operate machinery to assist in the production process, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Control: Conduct visual quality checks of all products to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products, mainly via a roller track, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
- Manual Handling: Undertake manual handling activities, lifting and moving plates, while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Machinery Operation: Run machines with stop/start controls, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Housekeeping: Maintain good housekeeping/5S standards within your area of responsibility.
- Previous Experience: Previous assembly or automotive experience is highly desirable.
- Education: Numerate and literate, with GCSE passes in Mathematics and English Language being a plus.
- Technical Skills: PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft would be a benefit.
- Enthusiasm and Responsibility: An enthusiastic individual with a responsible attitude, willing to take ownership of their work.
- Common Sense and Interpersonal Skills: A commonsense approach, with good interpersonal skills, to effectively communicate with colleagues and management.
- Attention to Detail and Teamwork: Attention to detail and a team player, able to work collaboratively with others to achieve targets.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure, achieve targets, and be flexible in working hours.
- Personal Qualities: Must be able to wear PPE, such as face masks and ear plugs, and be clean-shaven due to the nature of the work.
