About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Risk Modelling Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of financial risk modelling, running stress tests and 'what if' scenarios to review the effect on our Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR), and recommending and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and reduce exposure to serious events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of financial risk modelling
- Run stress tests and 'what if' scenarios to review the effect on our SCR
- Review results and assess the risks faced by the business
- Recommend and implement strategies to mitigate risks and reduce exposure to serious events
- Work closely with the internal model team to develop and run stress tests
Requirements
- Typically, you will be a Qualified Actuary with experience in Life Insurance
- Good technical understanding of Solvency II and capital reporting
- Experienced in running Solvency Stress Tests (SSTs)
- Good capital modelling experience
- Strong understanding of SCR and the associated regulations
