Company Overview:
An innovative and well-established manufacturer in South Wales, currently experiencing exciting growth, is seeking to enhance their team with an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Leader. This organization is part of a multinational group, operating on a global scale and catering to a diverse array of industry sectors. They are focused on expanding their market presence in emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a pivotal contributor to achieving excellence across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with team members to foster and uphold a QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, People) mindset within a PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) framework.
- Spearhead all facets of Quality Control, Waste Reduction, and Continuous Improvement with a steadfast commitment to attaining zero defects through the application of various lean methodologies and the enhancement of critical processes.
- Analyze all production input and output areas, from supplier performance to customer satisfaction.
- Employ suitable tools and techniques to promote and continually enhance quality, health & safety, 6S, and performance targets throughout the department.
- Ensure compliance with the requirements of accreditation bodies such as IATF16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO45001.
- Review and monitor control parameters for all processes, identifying and developing methods for control and implementing monitoring systems for reporting against these parameters.
- Address any deficiencies and improve processes through robust root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers (both internal and external) regarding all quality-related matters.
- Lead and facilitate effective problem-solving initiatives in response to internal and external concerns.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Quality Management or Senior Quality Engineer role.
- Background in manufacturing, preferably within automotive or aerospace sectors.
- Experience in driving cultural change within organizations.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, particularly ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
