Position Overview

Our organization, a distinguished national legal practice recognized for its expertise in litigation, is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Talent Acquisition Consultant to enhance our recruitment efforts.

The primary focus of this role will be to manage the recruitment process for legal professionals and senior administrative positions, while also contributing to the firm's overall growth and various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-house searches for both active and passive candidates for partner-level positions.
  • Oversee and coordinate any external search assignments with third-party agencies.
  • Manage relationships and engagement with recruitment agencies.
  • Design and implement targeted advertising campaigns for senior roles.
  • Serve as a recruitment subject matter expert (SME) to mentor junior team members.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of job descriptions, advertisements, online content, and offer letters.
  • Research and provide insights on sourcing strategies and market trends.
  • Offer interview support as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate the preferred supplier list (PSL) to ensure comprehensive coverage across various disciplines and locations.
  • Actively participate in recruitment development initiatives, including the selection and implementation of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Assess and enhance the overall 'candidate journey' and 'candidate experience'.

The ideal candidate for the Talent Acquisition Consultant role will possess experience in an internal recruitment capacity, legal recruitment agency, or professional services environment, with a strong understanding of legal and business services roles. Supervisory experience is essential, along with the ability to mentor and develop junior colleagues. The successful applicant will thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting and will be capable of engaging effectively with senior stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office applications is required, along with exceptional communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
