The Lead Applications Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering vital technical, customer service, and problem resolution skills to enhance the Trust's current systems and future Electronic Patient Record (EPR) initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing the service desk operations and offering expert guidance and solutions for routine application-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the service desk team to ensure effective management of application support.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions for routine application issues.
  • Proactively monitor system usage to enhance digital adoption and optimize the existing application ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with the Applications Manager and IM&T team, as well as operational staff, to ensure all functionalities meet clinical and operational standards.
