About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Quality Specialist to join our Audit Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our audit work and providing expert advice on audit methodology and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement audit methodologies and standards to ensure high-quality audit work
  • Provide expert advice on audit standards and methodologies to our audit teams
  • Collaborate with our Financial Reporting Advisory team to develop and enhance our audit approach
  • Develop and deliver training content on audit methodologies and standards
  • Conduct file reviews to ensure compliance with audit standards and methodologies

Requirements

  • ACA or similar professional accountancy qualification
  • Expert knowledge of UK auditing standards
  • Awareness of regulatory requirements in Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, or Ireland (desirable)
