About the Role

Sunamp is seeking a highly experienced Senior Simulation Engineer to lead the development and implementation of simulation technologies across the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modeling and simulation, with expertise in 1D modeling, numerical methods, and analytical approaches. They will also have proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Advanced MatLab, Simulink, and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply technical expertise and leadership in the use and execution of simulation tools, including existing packages and bespoke solutions.
  • Support Mechanical and Thermal Engineers by providing technical guidance and expertise in the field of simulation tools.
  • Validate, configure, and deploy Heat Battery simulations for the HVAC environment.
  • Perform maintenance activities on simulation tools, including record-keeping and budget management.
  • Develop and author Standard Operating Procedures for using simulation tools within Sunamp.
  • Provide training to others on the use of released models and tools.
  • Generate and disseminate reports based on simulation results.
