Role Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Sector Advisors for the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Science. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments within this important qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance and support to the Standards Verifier by reviewing learner work samples against established assessment criteria.
  • Ensure that assessments accurately reflect national standards and promote high levels of competence within the healthcare science sector.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of assessment practices through your insights and expertise.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in healthcare science education.

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated occupational competence in one or more pathways within the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Science, such as Bioinformatics, Reproductive Science, Life Sciences, and more.
  • A strong understanding of assessment principles and practices in vocational education.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
