Position Overview

We are looking for a committed and empathetic Cerebral Palsy Support Worker to provide essential assistance to our client in the Wiltshire area. This role involves supporting an individual with visual impairments and learning challenges, requiring a commitment of 30 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will enjoy outdoor activities and community engagement, including excursions to local attractions.

Driving Requirement: A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are essential for this position.

Working Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Thursday: 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Friday: 11:00 AM onwards

Saturday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Key Duties:

  • Implementing personalized care routines.
  • Assisting with mobility and visual support.
  • Offering emotional companionship and support.
  • Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in the client's condition.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure holistic care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Kind, patient, and understanding demeanor.
  • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to adhere to the specified working hours.

Training & Background Checks: An enhanced DBS check and comprehensive training will be provided before commencing work, along with support from our clinical lead nurse.
