About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heating Engineer to join our team at Good Energy. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for delivering and demonstrating quality technical expertise in the installation of our Midea air source heat pumps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead as a heating installations expert, delivering high-quality technical expertise to install our Midea heat pumps.
  • Work in close collaboration with electrical engineers to ensure customers' heating systems are installed safely, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Deliver high SHE standards to keep yourself, our customers, and colleagues safe.
  • Continuously develop yourself technically and maintain your industry and onsite knowledge to keep health, safety, and compliance at the top of your priorities.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with all other teams to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Be flexible and open to change in a fast-paced and evolving business.
  • Act as a proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude, driving to do what's best and what's right for both the customer and the business.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or similar in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
  • Unvented hot water systems.
  • Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1).
  • Broad health and safety experience.
  • A current full UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Oil experience.
  • LPG experience.
  • Renewables experience.
  • Water regulations.
  • Energy efficiency.
  • Experience and understanding of MCS Regulations.
  • Domestic Heat Pump level 3 in installation and maintenance.
