We're seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team at Good Energy. As a key member of our installation team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality heating solutions to our customers, promoting sustainable living and reducing carbon emissions.

About the Role

This is a field-based position, requiring travel within a 1 hour and 30 minute radius of Bristol. You'll work closely with an Electrician and a Trainee Heating Engineer, providing guidance and training to support their development. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant installations of our Midea air source heat pumps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead as a heating installations expert, delivering quality technical expertise to install our Midea heat pumps.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure customers' heating systems are installed safely, on time, and to a high standard of workmanship.
  • Deliver high SHE standards to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, customers, and colleagues.
  • Continuously develop your technical skills and maintain industry knowledge to prioritize health, safety, and compliance.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with other teams to provide seamless customer service.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
  • Proactively solve problems with a can-do attitude, prioritizing the best interests of customers and the business.
Requirements

We're looking for a driven and talented Heating Engineer with extensive experience in heating systems. Although experience with heat pumps is not necessary, you'll have a passion for learning and developing your skills. You'll be an excellent communicator, confident in explaining complex heating systems to customers and addressing their queries.

  • NVQ level 3 or similar in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
  • Unvented hot water systems.
  • Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1).
  • Broad health and safety experience.
  • A current full UK driving license.
