About the Role

SOCOTEC UK Limited is a leading provider of testing, inspection, and compliance services. We are seeking a highly skilled Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to join our Environment & Safety division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS)
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
  • Develop and maintain safe systems of work, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility
  • Provide expert advice on environmental legislation and compliance

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a compliance role
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations
  • Hold a NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate Level 3 minimum
  • Associate member of IEMA or an environmental qualification
  • IOSH membership
  • Full UK driving license
