Achieving for Children is seeking a skilled Commissioning Officer to join our team. As a Commissioning Officer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality placements and services to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities- Commission suitable placements across Social Care, SEN, Health, and Housing, ensuring value for money and quality.
- Review contracts and service level agreements, monitoring compliance and ensuring necessary safeguards are in place to protect vulnerable clients.
- Contribute to the delivery of strategic commissioning intentions, undertaking delegated activities in relation to commissioning, contract management, and policy planning.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a professional understanding of placements and commissioning activity, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also have a strong organizational ability, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workloads effectively.
