Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding school in Wandsworth. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a student with mild SEN, providing individualized attention and assistance throughout the day.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support pupils to make good academic progress under the direction of the teacher and Inclusion leader
  • Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence
  • Implement group or 1:1 interventions to support pupils who have emotional or social barriers to learning
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
Requirements
  • An honours degree in psychology (preferably Upper Second) or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively with students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
