We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team on Ward 31 at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a key member of our orthopaedic trauma nursing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading junior members of the team.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate patient care on the ward, ensuring a high standard of care is delivered at all times.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments and patient feedback surveys to inform care planning and improvement initiatives.
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement projects to drive excellence in patient care.
- Support the Ward Manager in managing length of stay and delivering high-quality care within the ward.
- Collaborate with the Orthopaedic Practice Development Team to develop and implement evidence-based care practices.

Person Specification- Nursing Diploma/Degree and Registered Nurse qualification.
- Experience at band 5 level or equivalent in a surgical/orthopaedic environment.
- Experience in acute nursing and ability to manage change.
- Knowledge of clinical audits, research, and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate junior team members.
