Job Title: Technical Graduate Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Technical Graduate Trainee to join our team at AWD online. As a Technical Graduate Trainee, you will be responsible for developing new and existing products, working closely with our Window Solutions sales team, and liaising directly with customers and suppliers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new and existing products for the construction sector
  • Work closely with the Window Solutions sales team to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Liaise directly with customers and suppliers in the UK to ensure smooth product delivery
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and undertake international placements at company locations globally for 4-6 months
Requirements:
  • Graduating/Graduated with a bachelors/MEng degree, with a 2:1 minimum, during or after 2021 (essential), preferably in Mechanical Engineering/Design or similar
  • Possess 3 months' work experience, in direct employment or an internship, experience (manufacturing/fenestration environment is preferred)
  • Possess experience of working internationally either through studying abroad or, work experience (desired)
  • Level B2/C1 standard in English (essential)
  • Proficiency in a second language (German desired) is preferred however, GCSE / A Level qualifications in another language will be considered
  • The position requires international travel and therefore openness to mobile working is essential
  • Ability to work to deadlines
