Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a dedicated Finance & Administrative Support Officer to contribute to our vital Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and NHS Funded Nursing Care (FNC) services.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our CHC/FNC team. You will provide essential administrative and financial support, enabling us to deliver high-quality care to individuals receiving these vital services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Validate and process invoices for payment, meticulously identifying any discrepancies and liaising with providers or care coordinators to resolve them promptly.
  • Administrative Excellence: Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Nursing Team, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency. This includes managing panel meetings using Excel, inputting accurate data into databases, drafting standard letters, and overseeing generic email inboxes.
  • Process Management: Administer the Retrospective Review Process effectively and gain proficiency in various office procedures related to invoices, unit panels, NHS FNC new admissions, assessments, and contracts.
About You:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will possess strong administrative experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office software. A working knowledge of CHC and NHS FNC guidelines would be advantageous.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
