About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Caretaker to join our team at Aylesford School. As a key holder, you will be responsible for site security, including opening and closing the site, and responding to alarms out of hours.

Main Responsibilities

  • Enhanced DBS check required
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the site
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Possible overtime available
  • Training provided in IT skills and use of the quad
  • PASMA and IPAF training a plus, but not essential
  • Legionella training to assist with site flushing
  • Assisting the site team with weekly, monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly, and yearly PPMs
  • Litter picking after breaks as part of a team
  • Painting and small plumbing jobs throughout the year
  • Hazard spotting and risk assessing the site daily to ensure a safe environment
  • Completing helpdesk tasks within time and to a reasonable standard

We are looking for someone who is proactive, punctual, and able to work under pressure. You should be able to add value to the team and help the site grow and thrive on a day-to-day basis. A positive attitude and ability to establish yourself as a reliable individual are essential.
