Senior Social Worker - Looked After Children's Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Looked After Children's Team in Enfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pathway Planning: Develop and implement effective plans to support children's needs and well-being.
  • Attending Adoption Panels: Represent the team at adoption panels to ensure the best interests of the child are represented.
  • Standard Case Management: Manage a caseload of children and families, providing regular updates and interventions as needed.
  • LAC Reviews: Participate in Looked After Children reviews to ensure the child's needs are being met.

  • Attending Court: Represent the team in court to ensure the best interests of the child are represented.
  • Court Reports: Prepare and submit court reports to ensure the child's needs are being met.
Requirements:
  • Post-qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in the UK Social Care industry.
  • Minimum 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry.
  • SWE Registration.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
