Job Title: Qualified Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Work Manager to lead our dedicated Children in Need, Duty and Assessment Team in the North West region.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need. As a Social Work Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced Social Workers in delivering high-quality social care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Social Workers in delivering person-centred, safe, and effective social care services.
  • Make assessments and decisions about the most appropriate interventions for children and families in need.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with service users and other agencies to ensure services meet identified needs.
  • Use your professional knowledge and experience to provide the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience in working with children and families, including those from vulnerable groups.
  • Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and understanding of child protection issues.
  • Excellent communication and mediation skills.
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, interagency basis.
