Job Description
As a Dental Nurse at The Sandford Suite Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting Dentists- Preparing treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
- Providing chairside support, ensuring patient comfort and safety during various dental treatments and procedures.
- Handling dental materials and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient treatments and updating patient charts.
- Welcoming and reassuring patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by dentists.
- Performing basic laboratory tasks, such as preparing dental impressions and models.
- Providing post-operative instructions to patients and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Maintaining a clean and organized dental environment for efficient workflow.
- Assisting with reception duties, including appointment scheduling and record management.
- Managing inventory and ordering dental supplies as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and practice policies.
Qualifications
We are seeking a qualified Dental Nurse with:
- Valid GDC registration.
- Experience working as a Dental Nurse in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
