About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young people and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of referrals and admissions to the service, using your expertise to diagnose and formulate management plans for complex presentations.
- Provide management and treatment for patients with treatment-resistant and complex conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
- Assess and manage risk, including vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety, and risk of harm to others, using your expertise to develop effective management plans.
- Prepare and present reports for Mental Health Review Tribunal and Managers' Hearings, and attend subsequent hearings as required.
- Work collaboratively with external partners and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care and support to patients and their families.
