We are excited to announce an opportunity for a new HR Manager within a dynamic engineering firm. This position is ideal for a Senior HR Advisor ready to transition into their first managerial role or for an individual who has previously managed HR in a smaller organization and is now prepared for a larger challenge.

This role is strictly office-based, and you will be responsible for overseeing approximately 40 employees. Your duties will encompass standard HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and enhancing the company benefits program.

The environment is non-corporate, and while a basic HR system is currently in place, we seek someone eager to implement new systems as they become operational.

You will collaborate closely with two other HR professionals (HR Sector Head and HR Director) and have direct access to a supportive plant manager who values autonomy.

Given that our client operates in the manufacturing sector, prior experience in this field is essential, as there are significant distinctions between manufacturing and other industries.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 3 or higher.
  • A strong employment history demonstrating loyalty and commitment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience as an HR Manager in a smaller organization or as a Senior HR Advisor ready to step up.
  • Creative and commercially aware approach to HR.
  • A personable and approachable demeanor, avoiding corporate rigidity.
