Job Summary

The Financial Assessment and Benefits Clerical Officer role provides critical administrative support to the Financial Assessment and Benefits Service. This involves maximizing income to the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust through a fair and accurate financial assessment process, while promoting the take-up of welfare benefits in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct financial assessments for services such as residential/nursing care and Domiciliary Care.
  2. Book assessments with clients via phone, email, or post.
  3. Explain the financial assessment process to clients during potentially challenging times.

The Financial Assessment and Benefits team provides a vital service for individuals with Social Care support and services that require financial contributions following a financial assessment.
