Junior Import Merchandiser
Amelia Knight Cosmetics Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Import Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for creating and managing purchase orders, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders in Sage for both UK and China production, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Communicate regularly with customers, directors, and project managers to report on order status, including updates on order changes, delivery timings, and critical path information.
- Ensure all accompanying documentation is accurate and available to manufacturing sites by agreed deadlines.
- Liaise with shipping and logistics teams to ensure vessel bookings and dispatch meet customer and UK requirements.
- Assist in resolving customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the planning and purchasing team to advise on component arrivals and any delays that may impact production planning.
- Contribute to regular customer meetings and calls to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
- Update sales trackers weekly to ensure accuracy and avoid double counting.
- Collaborate with the AKM team to ensure componentry samples meet quality standards prior to shipment.
- Participate in handover meetings from development teams for new products to manage for production.
- Manage customer order systems to ensure accuracy and consistency across all sites.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Mathematics and English proficiency
- Experience with Sage X3 preferred
