About the Role:

As a Senior Bid and Tender Manager at Drax Group, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Electric Vehicle (EV) business. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will lead a Bid Team and be responsible for creating and managing bids that meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning the end-to-end bid tender process, from initial planning to final delivery
  • Delivering tailored bid responses that showcase Drax's expertise and commitment to sustainability
  • Providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders, including the Executive Committee
  • Developing and implementing effective bid processes that drive best practice and continuous improvement
  • Creating and delivering a Bid Library that showcases Drax's capabilities and expertise
  • Leading internal post-bid reviews to enhance our bid success and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of leading successful Bid Teams and delivering winning bids
  • Experience in implementing strategic plans and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior executive level
  • Knowledge of the Electric Vehicle market, regulatory frameworks, and data analysis
