About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Burman Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis and Leadership
    • Develop and implement business analysis strategies to drive business growth and excellence.
    • Lead and manage a team of Business Analysts, driving best practices and supporting key projects.
    • Mentor and coach team members, promoting staff development and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Analysis and Improvement
    • Analyze complex operational challenges and propose solutions to drive business improvement.
    • Conduct gap and impact analysis to deliver strategic recommendations.
  • Feasibility and Cost/Benefit Analysis
    • Assess alternative processes and systems, recommending changes to drive business efficiency.
    • Conduct pre-project analysis and develop business cases to support strategic decisions.
    • Communicate change needs and benefits to stakeholders.
  • Requirements and Process Improvement
    • Elicit, prioritize, and document user requirements to drive business solutions.
    • Provide functional specifications and design documentation to support project delivery.
    • Produce logical system designs and prototypes to drive business innovation.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Manage a small team of project managers or business analysts to drive business results.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to drive business growth.
    • Promote staff development and continuous improvement to drive business excellence.
  • Best Practice Processes and Domain Knowledge
    • Drive and support best practices within the team to drive business excellence.
    • Maintain domain knowledge and mentor junior analysts to drive business innovation.
  • Support and Deputize Team Manager
    • Deputize for the team manager as needed to drive business results.
    • Oversee and coordinate work, ensuring effective decision-making to drive business excellence.
  • System and User Testing
    • Validate system and user testing approaches to drive business innovation.
    • Create test strategies, scenarios, and scripts to drive business excellence.
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Essential:
      • BCS Business Analysis qualifications or equivalent.
      • PRINCE2 or similar project management qualification.
      • Professional qualification or postgraduate degree level skills.
      • Proven experience in managing outcomes in a specialist field.
      • Ability to gather, review, and document requirements.
      • Project and people management skills.
      • Appreciation of business priorities.
    • Desirable:
      • Membership of a relevant professional body.
      • ITIL Foundation certification or experience.
      • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
      • Commitment to professional development.
