Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in and around the Addlestone, Weybridge and Chertsey areas.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with transferable skills to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers and other staff in the classroom to ensure the best possible outcomes for children with SEN
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Calm and patient nature, with the ability to work with children of all needs and abilities
  • Happy to use own initiative and get involved in a variety of tasks
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Kind and caring towards children, with a willingness to take on training and development opportunities
  • Hold a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
