As a CNC Programmer, your primary responsibility will involve the creation and modification of programs for CNC machinery. You will be expected to comprehend and interpret intricate technical drawings and CAD files, translating them into functional CNC programs.
The ideal candidate for the CNC Programmer position will possess a keen eye for detail and a high level of precision to ensure that machine outputs align with exact specifications and quality benchmarks. Experience with CNC machinery, particularly Haas models, and familiarity with Fusion 360 programming software will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and refining CNC programs to manufacture complex parts and components.
- Choosing the appropriate tools, machines, and materials for each task.
- Testing and fine-tuning programs to guarantee efficiency and quality.
- Collaborating with engineers and machinists to evaluate project requirements and troubleshoot issues related to machine setup and program functionality.
- Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation for machine specifications and programming notes.
- Staying informed about the latest software advancements and participating in training for new equipment.
The successful CNC Programmer will ideally have experience in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing context. While experience with HAAS CNC machines and Fusion 360 software is preferred, it is not mandatory. A basic understanding of the automotive sector will be beneficial. We value adaptability and a willingness to grow and evolve with the company, as internal and external training opportunities will be provided.
Working Hours:
Monday - Thursday with a 30-minute lunch break.
