Job Title: Vehicle Test Technician

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Test Technician to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing automotive electrical and electronic tests related to HMI, Navigation, Infotainment systems, Telematics, and mobile phone applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough testing of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with test engineers to evaluate and identify concerns.
  • Analyse test results and report on software quality, including identifying defects and tracking defect status.
  • Utilise vehicle diagnostic tools for testing and analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain vehicles or components for testing, adhering to local procedures and clients engineering manuals.
  • Support testing in various conditions to gather accurate, timely, and quality test data/results.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • C&G / BTEC L3 qualification preferred, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering with a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualification.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report writing and presentation preparation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Interest in smartphones and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and the ability to fault find.
  • Valid UK driving license required.
Hours & Pay:
  • Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
  • £19.00 per hour.
