About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Trader to join our team at ForFarmers. As a Sales Trader, you will be responsible for trading products on a national basis, monitoring agreed trading positions and volume levels, and providing accurate commercial information and market information to our Total Feed Specialists, Field Based Account Managers, Merchants, and direct farm sales.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales volumes and margin realization for the co-products.
  2. Following up on leads from the sales force and own lead generation.
Requirements
  1. Completed higher-level vocational education (BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma or equivalent).
  2. Significant continuous work experience within a telephone sales environment.
  3. Motivation for sales and a commercial acumen.
  4. Sales and closing skills.
  5. Ability to motivate internal and external sales teams, suppliers, and logistic partners.
  6. Computer literacy and CRM experience.
  7. Ability to build rapport quickly and longer-term relationships over the telephone.
