About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at JGA Recruitment. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing expert financial reporting and compliance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and management information for clients.
  • Undertake audit work in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and within the firm.
  • Supervise and develop junior members of staff.
  • Manage clients' accounts and compliance work.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in accounting (e.g. ACCA, ACA).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Previous experience in Sage and Xero is desirable.
  • Good understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
