About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pricing Coordinator to join our team at Reed, a leading logistics company. As a Pricing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our district's Air and Ocean products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to ad-hoc quote requests from internal and external sources, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Account Management team to provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Monitor and maintain rates for existing business, utilizing market intelligence to ensure competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including airlines, trucking companies, and other logistics providers.
- Provide regular updates to rates and pricing information within our network and to customers.
- Participate in Air and Ocean department meetings to discuss market intelligence and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Review pricing goals and expectations with leadership teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Attend regular meetings with Regional Quoting and Bid Teams to support Expeditors regional pricing goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with teams globally at origin and destination to secure competitive pricing and timely responses.
- Provide exceptional customer service, following up with customers on ad-hoc quotes and gathering feedback.
- Log customer feedback and quote outcomes within the quoting tool for visibility purposes.
- Analyze quotes and feedback to trend local market conditions and win ratios by customer/lane.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks within deadlines.
- Good knowledge and understanding of incoterms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to execute tasks with limited direction and oversight, against tight deadlines.
- Strong multi-tasking, timekeeping, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to new systems and software to maintain pricing advantage for the branch.
