Linsco is currently seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee a new residential development project.

The ideal candidate will be available to commence work shortly and will be engaged for a duration of several months. This position will operate under PAYE or Umbrella PAYE arrangements only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: You will be accountable for the daily management of the roofing project, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Scaffolding Management: Your role will require significant scaffolding knowledge. You will supervise the setup, inspection, and upkeep of scaffolding on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Health and Safety Enforcement: You will implement rigorous health and safety measures throughout the site, conducting regular audits and ensuring compliance among all personnel and subcontractors.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Health & Safety Knowledge: You must ensure all operations meet current health and safety regulations.
  • First Aid Certification: Immediate response capabilities for on-site injuries or emergencies are essential.
  • SMSTS Certification: A solid understanding of construction site safety management is required.
  • CSCS Card: A Black CSCS card is preferred, indicating advanced skills in site management, though a Gold card may also be acceptable.
  • Asbestos Awareness: Familiarity with asbestos risks and management practices is necessary, particularly in older structures.

Preferred Experience:

  • Roofing and Scaffolding Background: A robust history in roofing and scaffolding management is crucial. Candidates should possess a proven record of successfully overseeing similar projects, with comprehensive knowledge of roofing systems and scaffolding best practices.
