Position Overview
Are you interested in a role that offers up to 50 paid days off annually to enhance your work-life balance?
Have you ever envisioned yourself as an architect? Join our team and unleash your creativity as you assist children in designing and constructing magnificent sandcastles complete with drawbridges, moats, and flags atop the towers.
Have you ever aspired to be a mathematician? Help children learn to count as you stack blocks higher and higher, only to watch them tumble down together.
Have you ever dreamed of being a master chef? Collaborate with children to plant seeds in the garden, nurture them, and then transform your harvest into a delicious soup for all to savor.
Have you ever wanted to be an artist? Encourage children to explore colors and textures as you dive into the craft supplies for glitter and sequins, sculpt with dough, and mix paints to create vibrant rainbows.
At Childbase Partnership, we believe you can achieve anything you set your mind to. There is truly no limit to what you can accomplish as an Early Years Educator. If you can't think of a more fulfilling role or a better career path, consider joining us. Our nurseries are eager to welcome creative, compassionate, and thoughtful individuals like you. Work collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional care and education for our children. While you inspire the children in your care to dream big and achieve remarkable things, we will support you in reaching your full potential.
If you answered YES to any of the above, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of our 44-day nurseries, where we are pioneering a new standard by offering our colleagues up to 50 paid days off to promote a healthier work-life balance and enhance workplace satisfaction. This initiative is a first in the Early Years Sector.
You will join us as a Team Leader (supporting children aged 3-4 years) on a full-time, fixed-term basis (40 hours per week) with a variety of shifts available.
We are looking for a unique individual to fill this room-based leadership position. The ideal candidate will:
- Hold an early years qualification at level three or above and have proven experience working as part of a team in an early years environment.
- Possess excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and be passionate about fostering happy and confident learners.
- Inspire colleagues through hands-on leadership and best-practice role modeling, ensuring the team feels supported and motivated.
- Thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented setting, promote collaborative working, and be sensitive to the needs of others.
Some of the benefits we offer include:
- An annual salary ranging from £30,326.40 to £33,696 (based on a 40-hour work week).
- Up to 50 paid days off.
- Childcare discounts from day one; 50% for your children and/or 20% for your grandchildren.
- Access to Perkbox for various retail discounts and reduced ticket prices for outings.
- Referral bonuses of £1,000 for successfully recommending a friend to join our partnership.
- Complimentary meals and refreshments while at work.
- Access to mental health resources, employee assistance programs, and private medical care.
- Opportunities for career advancement and future promotions within our partnership.
Successful candidates will need to provide documentation proving their right to work in the UK, evidence of relevant qualifications, undergo a DBS check, and provide satisfactory references before starting employment with us. If your application is successful, our recruitment and compliance team will guide you through the onboarding process every step of the way.
