Role Responsibilities: As a Special Educational Needs Support Assistant, you will be expected to:

  • Provide guidance to enhance students' social, health, and hygiene well-being.
  • Assist in the execution of individualized education plans.
  • Support students in their learning and personal care requirements.

  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop engaging and inclusive lesson plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress.


Candidate Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • A solid understanding of the individual needs associated with moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning disabilities (SLD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering children's development.
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2 or equivalent, are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
